Skippered Hire
Skippered 8 Seater Picnic Boat
Skippered Hire, available on selected weekend dates. We now offer skippered hire for up to 8 people, with the option of vintage afternoon tea, onboard drinks or simple a chaffered trip.
We always recommend booking in advance. We regularly sell out on the day.
Same day bookings can only be made at out hire stations and are on a first come - first serve basis.
We can only offer multiple-hour bookings when boats are taken out on our full or half day products. Purchasing multiple 1 hour slots is not advised as the route you can take will not change due to being restricted by locks and you cannot moor up with this product.
Please note - As a small business, all bookings are final and non-refundable.

No previous boating experience is required. Our boats are easy to operate, and we provide a full safety briefing before you set off.

Yes, life jackets and buoyancy aids are supplied for all passengers, including children. Wearing them is strongly recommended.

Children are very welcome. We provide child-sized life jackets to keep them safe. An adult must be present at all times.

Well behaved dogs are certainly welcome on board. We usually say that larger dogs count towards the passenger capacity of the boat, but if it's small that shouldn't be an issue.

Boats returning late or in a dirty condition subject to additional charge:
Rowing Boats £40, Motor Boats £96, Day Boats £110
All male and all female groups - Additional Security Deposit £100 per person
Hirers of rowing boats must be 18 years or over
Hirers of motor boats must be 21 years or over.
Photo ID and security deposit required on all boats
We reserve the right to refuse hire without giving a reason.
