Saturday 6th April 2024
The Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Denise Saliagopoulos, will be hosting a free day of cycling fun in Lammas Park, Staines-upon-Thames, on Saturday 6 April 2024 (11am to 3pm) for all families and bike enthusiasts as part of her Mayoral Year.
There will be scooter and skateboard workshops, children and adult cycling sessions, trails and competitions, including for the best decorated bike. There will also be live music, arts and crafts and our Cycling for Health Team will also be in attendance
We have also teamed up with local organisations to celebrate cycling in the Borough, including an entertainer for the event who goes by the name of 'Solo Circus' Cycling Entertainer. Surrey Police will be in attendance to offer free bike marking.
Talking Tree will be in attendance to promote their bike project and bike maintenance scheme.

As part of the Spelthorne Cycling Fun Day, we are inviting cycling clubs from far and wide to visit as part of there organised rides.
If you’re a cycle club, why not drop in? Catch up with like minded groups over a fresh coffee before hitting the road for your weekend adventure!
To ensure you're never stranded, Two Wheels Turning will be available to provide bike maintenance services to visiting groups. While this service comes at a cost, if you're in need of a quick fix to get back on the road, they possess all the expertise to get you moving swiftly!
